Summary:  

 

Coordinates health, dental, life, vision, and disability insurance; has primary responsibility for researching and correcting benefit as needed; handles highly confidential information requiring knowledge of all benefit programs.

Processes various applications, enrollment and pay change information and other confidential forms. Gathers information and prepares standard to complex reports. Completes and updates billing statements for all employee benefit programs.  Compares and explores new benefit programs available.  Works to ensure Labette Health receives data to compare salary information to remain competitive.  Assist department directors with evaluations, employee issues, and follow up.  Works as an employee liaison to ensure employees are aware of benefits available.     Reconcile annual workers compensation codes.  Reconcile the annual flexible benefit non-discrimination testing. 

Maintains and distributes current employee information, policy and procedure manuals and other communications. Checks compensation calculations to ensure accuracy.  Will track and reconcile all job postings.  Will complete all annual compensation salary survey data. 

Requirements: Must have a high awareness of customer service.  Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher, Photoshop.) 

 Education Requirements: 

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.)  or Maters in Human Resources required,  SPHR or PHR preferred.  Previous Payroll or Human Resources experience.
