Summary:
Responsible for patient preparation and care pre-operatively and post-operatively under the direction of the RN. This includes but not limited to: bringing patients back to the room, assisting with undressing/dressing, applying vital signs monitor and obtaining vitals, transport of patient to and from OPS area. Cleaning of OPS room after dismissal and preparing for the next patient.
Cross train for CS and will take CS weekend call every 4th weekend.
Cross train in the OR in assisting with cleaning duties
Other assigned duties as determined by the Director of Surgical Services.
