Summary: Responsible for doing all pre-surgery preparation involving testing, initial interviews, screening for anesthesia, joint camp, coordinating with physician offices necessary paperwork and patient teaching with an emphasis on providing the patient with all necessary information prior to surgery. Candidate must exhibit a high level of organizational skills and communication skills.
Education Requirements: Graduate of accepted nursing curriculum; minimum of three years nursing experience with strong medical/surgical background; current Kansas RN license. Will be cross-trained for OutPatient Surgery and Recovery Room as well as taking Recovery Room Call.
CPR certification required.
